What normally happens when a car blocks someone

Someone is blocked in. They wait. They ask around. They shout. Eventually they leave a note, call a tow, or take it out on the paintwork. None of that is anyone's fault — there was simply no fast way to reach the person who parked.

With a card on the windshield

  1. They scan itAny phone camera. Nothing to install, no account to make.
  2. They tap "Blocking me"One tap. No typing, no explanation needed.
  3. You get the alertOn your phone in seconds, with the vehicle and the reason.
  4. You move the carOr acknowledge so they know you are coming.

It works both ways

The same card handles the rest of the parking-lot situations too — lights left on, keys in the door, a dent someone noticed, or just a neighbour who wants to reach you. They pick the reason; you get told which one it is, so you know whether to run or finish your coffee.

Why not write your number

  • A number on the dashboard is readable by everyone who walks past, not just the person who needs it.
  • You cannot turn it off. A QR card can be disabled instantly if it is ever misused.
  • Repeat nuisance scans can be reported as spam — a printed number gives you no such control.
Questions

Blocked parking questions

How fast will I know that I have blocked someone?
The alert reaches your phone within seconds of the scan, with the reason attached.
What if I am somewhere with no signal?
The alert waits and arrives when your phone reconnects. Nothing is lost.
Can the person scanning call me directly?
They cannot see your number. You decide whether to call back from inside the app.
What if someone scans it as a prank?
Report the scan as spam. You can also acknowledge, dismiss or clear alerts from your inbox.
Does it work in a basement parking with poor network?
The scanner needs a connection to send the alert. Once it goes through, it reaches you as soon as your phone is online.

Never come back to a note on the windscreen again.
